Annika Lidne, Social Media Expert, Disruptive Media

16 Nov 2010

Annika Lidne is one of the most well-known people in the social media industry in Sweden. She advises a number of large companies and organisations on social media and digital business.

Annika organizes Scandinavia’s main meeting place for social media – the Disruptive Media Conference – several times annually. She is the founder of Stockholm Social Media Club, the first of its kind in Scandinavia, which meets the last Friday every month for lunch and networking.

Annika has a long and broad experience in media, and worked with everything from journalism, publishing and advertising to television, product placement in feature films and – of course – the Internet. She’s also a published author.

Annika has been CEO of a number of companies in the advertising and media industry, as well as the head of both the legal news service PointLex and the world’s oldest still published newspaper, Post och Inrikes Tidningar. Annika also founded Sweden’s first (and still only) legal business magazine, PointLex Legala Affärer (PointLex Legal Business).

Today, Annika consults on how businesses can benefit from the changes and disruption that the network society, the digital economy and social media brings. She is also one of Sweden’s most popular speakers on these issues.
